It sounds that the new LTS release has not solved the sound problem.
All the output I have are exactky the same than before, except :
What is strange again, is to see that Mixers are on this time (but no sound out...), and this ALC883 Analog is coming back. My chipset is on ALC889 NOT ALC883 !!!!!!!!!!
PS: I have the last release of alsa base , i.e. 16
