It still shows upside down for a moment at the beginning, but orientation-detection is working great! When I flip the camera around to the back, it auto-flipped the image right-side-up.

Video recording is still very choppy (only a few disjoint seconds were captured), and it takes 7 seconds for Cheese to display an image and say "recording" but that could just be Cheese. My other webcam seems to have *stopped* working, so I can't compare to see if this is just Cheese being sloooooow.
