Hey Chief,

You could try to compile the kernel version 2.6.25 (Version 2.6.26 should work too) by yourself and disable HighRes Timers and the Tickless feature (eighter in the .config or by passing nohz=off). It's really easy and on my computer everything works (including WLAN).
