I have an Asus Pundit (first generation, motherboard Asus P4S8L) loaded with Ubuntu 8.10 (2.6.27-7)
The machine has an ENE card reader. The card reader is only for SD cards. Everithing else works like a charm.
$ lspci | grep ENE 00:10.0 CardBus bridge: ENE Technology Inc CB-710/2/4 Cardbus Controller (rev 01) 00:10.1 FLASH memory: ENE Technology Inc CB710 Memory Card Reader Controller
I have tested with a couple of SD cards and nothing happens in Ubuntu. The card reader (and the SD cards) works properly under other OS.
