Seems like it confirms that the issue is related to "snd_hda_intel" driver or settings related to it in ALSA. All reports (here & Linux Mint Forum) mention this - independent of computer brand - except one (separate) post probably unrelated on Linux Mint Forum (https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=407183).
