I can confirm aswell that on Linux Mint 21.2 Mate my kernel 5.15.0-88 is causing audio popping and my solution was also to rollback to my previous kernel! I can also confirm that as of 11-21-2023 that it is also happening with kernel 5.15.0-89. I am using an Aspire 3 with an i3-11.
