If i login using Xorg with Ubuntu Desktop; the displays attached to the radeon card are DARK.. (except during the plymouth boot/shutdown sequence)

They're now working only in Ubuntu Desktop (Wayland) as mentioned in comment #7, however Xubuntu/Xfce and Lubuntu/LXQt use Xorg... and it's not working when I login using GNOME & Xorge either.

Something changed (leading to this bug report) which made it work in Wayland only? but that's NOT a Lubuntu-META package issue, no idea what the report should be filed against though sorry.
