If there's a kernel stack trace mentioning "drm_atomic_nonblocking_commit" around the same time then please also paste that here. It's not yet clear if this is mutter or the kernel's fault.

Likely workaround: Add to /etc/environment

  MUTTER_DEBUG_FORCE_KMS_MODE=simple

and then reboot.
