Bug Description
I have a recurring crash.
It does not record MCE information to the log file, but is presented on the screen during the next boot.
I can recreate the problem.
1) Start a steam game
2) Close the game
3) Let the monitor sleep
4) Wake up the computer and start the game
*) It will crash with an MCE when it starts rendering the game after the start menus.
This occurs in both games I've tried, Raft and No Man's Sky.
I can prevent the computer from crashing by disabling display sleep after 10min.
I've tried various kernel settings in an attempt to rectify this without success
1) set idle current in the BIOS
2) disabled C states
3) updated to the latest bios, actually a beta bios
4) enabling/disabling resizable bar
This was working in 20.04, but started crashing after the kernel was updated in 20.04 as well. I went to 22.04 hoping it might have been resolved, but it continues to crash.
