I can confirm that neither of the following fixed the bug:

GRUB Param `i915.enable_psr=0` did not fix
`intel_idle.max_cstate=4` did not fix
`intel_idle.max_cstate=0`did not fix
x11 session did not fix

Also, I noticed that when the screen starts flickering it only stops if I move the cursor, if I type on my keyboard the flickering continues.
