2008-03-10 15:26:25 Ebbex description 1) Ubuntu 8.04 hardy 2) netboot.tar.gz ? 3) 2008.02.26 4) Detect all my disks, allow me to partition them, and install. 5) 1 in every 20 boots, if i randomly tweak around with bios settings, it will detect the disks. The other 19 times, they are not detected. So I've actually managed to install on the disks previously. Under linux-2.6.24 they work as normal, this problem seems to arise whenever using the ubuntu-installer. Though I previously had the same symptoms when running linux-2.6.2{2,3} (tweaking bios, etc). Included for your viewing pleasure; dmesg, lsmod, lspci from the installer, and from an installed system. 1) Ubuntu 8.04 hardy 2) netboot.tar.gz ? 3) 2008.02.26 5) 1 in every 20 or so boots the installer will detect the disks.
