We did not backport FW API nor embed backport-iwlwifi-dkms into kernel source tree. Instead, bug 1969434 takes a different method that enables dkms module builds along with the kernel source and a linux-modules-iwlwifi-<ABI> binary package and the corresponding meta package linux-modules-iwlwifi-<FLAVOR> are created to carry prebuilt iwlwifi dkms binary modules.

For people still have stability issues for AX211 on oem-5.14, hwe-5.15, and generic-5.15 kernels, please install linux-modules-iwlwifi-<ABI> or linux-modules-iwlwifi-<FLAVOR>.
