In the RAM there could be some things like temp readings and fan speeds.
Also there may be different causes why these values differ for other reasons then the touchpad (reboot vs straight boot).

Could You execute ectool several times, with some timespan between these?

Do not dump the idx ram (command line switches) until I will check whether this is safe.

Also, a small request: could You not answer till tomorrow? I have to get my work done.
