V1 Patch based on Mateusz Jończyk's patch that fixes Elantech trackpad on many laptops (e.g., Gigabyte P35G v2)

Thanks for the encouragement Mateusz. This is a slightly improved patch containing a warning message. While at it, I've fixed silly typos & made comments a little better.

I'll research into DMI based idea (which, though I had it initially, didn't honestly know where to start off). Thank you for showing me that i8042-x86-ia64.h. I'll try starting off a new table (perhaps called i8042_dmi_kbdreset) of dmi_system_id struct for my Gigabyte laptop & try to invoke that knowledge where we're resetting the keyboard in the above patch.

If it's successful (a big if), besides it simplifying things, am sure other affected users would throw in their IDs too to populate it later.

But in any case, we badly need input maintainers' support for accepting either the current version of the patch or the future dmi based patch. Without any support whatsoever what is the use in investing much energy that would simply go waste?

Thank you.

(PS: Gone are the days when you could simply send a patch to lkml; now there is so much hierarchy and bureaucracy. What can be done, beggars can't be choosers. Therefore, I'm willing to pay, a nominal fee of course, for a patch that certainly would find its way to mainline.)
