I was not able to use the suggested kernel due to UEFI/SecureBoot. However, after edit "/etc/default/grub" and change GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet i8042.nopnp=1 pci=nocrs", touchpad started to work.
