Thanks Jarno. Can you run a test with them? Force one method to be used (like "deep"), following the commnad-line option in LP #1885085, and run 10 tests...5 of them after a reboot.
After that, force the other and re-run the tests. Let's see if we can narrow your issue to one suspend method.
