How do I actually load a mainline kernel?

I installed Ubuntu Mainline Kernel Installer, and used it too install kernel 5.6.3;
but at boot attempt, I get this message:

error: /boot/vmlinuz-5.6.3-050603-generic has invalid signature.
error: you need to load the kernel first.
