Also began happening for me, starting a week ago (but no apparent cause). Ubuntu 20.04, 5.4.0-42-generic, Intel NUC. Same symptom of wildly scrolling kernel log, eventually fills the disk.

In all cases it seems to be related to disconnection/deassociation?
