@Stephan: The i2c_hid could also be loaded by a dependency despite the blacklist. The important question is which module has bound to the device.

'ls /sys/bus/i2c/drivers/elan_i2c/' (should list the ELAN device)
'ls /sys/bus/i2c/drivers/i2c_hid/' (should not be found)
