Hi Po-Hsu Lin!

Thank you for the rapid reply. I have installed the kernel you suggested.
Also I removed "acpi_osi=" kernel parameter.
I confirm that everything works fine including the applet.
I hope this patch will become an official update for Ubuntu 16.04.
