Hi Connor,

I had this problem on built-in Bionic 4.18:

Linux akem-HP 4.18.0-24-generic #25~18.04.1-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 20 11:13:08 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Then TJ- helped me to build a DKMS module which fixed the problem.
