Something pretty strange just happened to me.
I got the connection working fine - as posted above - so I restarted the computer.
It came back up and the wlan0 was missing.
I tried all kinds of combinations of things, before finally sudo modprobe -r bcm43xx sudo modprobe bcm43xx
worked.
What does that mean? Does that mean that it has to be loaded AFTER the initial boot process to work? Is there any way that I could automate that?
