They're just different names for the same things, so these are equivalent for the sake of testing:
"Gnome on Xorg" = "Ubuntu" "Gnone" = "Ubuntu on Wayland"
It sounds like you have zoom enabled for some reason. To turn it off go to:
Settings > Universal Access > Zoom > Zoom (slider) = OFF
But that's not directly relevant to this bug.
Does using either "Gnome" or "Gnome on Xorg" fix this bug?
