Anyone know what happened to Aaron's patch? The discussion at https://patchwork.kernel.org/patch/10822515/ ends on November last year with this question from Kai-Heng:

Would be really great if it could be merged :(

Anyone tried a very recent kernel and can confirm the issue is still there BTW?
