It is a fix in the means of it would qualify even for an SRU under the "HW exploitation" as well as the "Security" banner. Therefore I think we are ok to push for this right now unless cosmic is fully frozen for the release week or so.

But I'd need to ask you (=IBM) to give the feature some testing as it needs HW not currently available to me.

Could you check the PPA [1] in regard to the change requested here please?
