This issue started happening on 16.04.5 with HWE kernel:

This may not have been the first occurrence but all earlier boots have already rotated out of syslog, thanks to UFW log spam.

I only noticed this oops once I upgraded to 18.04.1 later on this 2018-08-15. It occurs on every boot since.

I will test mainline and report back.
