Comment 57 for bug 1778087

Unfortunately I am not that familiar with the patching process.
I have read about it and I have tried the following without any success:
I have put the .diff file in this directory: /lib/modules/5.0.0-050000-generic and tried applying the patch the following command: patch -p1 < intel-pinctrl-intel.diff but it always asks for a file to patch and I can't find the original file which needs to be patched. I have tried with p0 flag also but couldn't do it. I have also tried moving the .diff file to: /lib/modules/5.0.0-050000-generic/kernel/drivers/pinctrl/intel but still it asks for a file to patch.

Maybe someone that is more experienced can try the patch.
