Plus, I have tried the fixes in your first post with no more luck for the crackling sound.
* `options snd-hda-intel position_fix=1` in `/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf` - KO
* `options snd-hda-intel position_fix=2` in `/etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf` - KO
* `load-module module-udev-detect tsched=0` in `/etc/pulse/default.pa` - KO
