ok. Now Im on my 16.10 system again.

1. this is the comand I use for 70% it also works for numbers higher than 1
down to 0

xrandr --output eDP-1 --brightness 0.7

for this current system

UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I have not used it prior to 16.10 but I think it worked. All systems newer
than 16.10 so far failed to Support my screen.

This looks like a solution to me, but I have not tried it because before
ubuntu 18 there was several other issues that made it unrunnable on my
machine.

3) thx. what would you change it to then? Or leave it empty? Its my first
