Bug with file transfer to USB devices

Bug Description

When I use the kernel version 4.10.0-38, the data transfer to any USB storage device stops after the transfer of the first file, but when I use kernel version 4.8.0-53, I don't face this problem.

I use : HP Probook 450 G1

I don't want to continue in this bug because I filed another bug with a newer kernel which is 4.13.0-25 that fixes the Meltdown and Spectre exploit.
