No, after disabling apparmor for dhclient, I'm successfully running v4.14-rc2.
However, it looks like exactly the same problems exist with this kernel as with v4.14-rc2:

1. NetworkManager fails to connect automatically at startup, but connects fine after manual intervention.

2. System fails to resume if it was disconnected from the dock while suspended.
