An update on this bug - since moving to Ubuntu 16.04.2 (which ships with 4.8), I can no longer seem to reproduce any wireless network downages. This also applies to 4.10.
What I can't seem to understand, though, is why the kernel keeps wanting a file named `ath10k/QCA6174/hw3.0/firmware-5.bin` - if it can't find this file, then how am I no longer having network issues?
