Comment 1 for bug 1653015

some notes:
  - I do not experience this crash with fresh install of 16.04.1 ( with kernel 4.4.0-31 )

this starts to happen when:
  - the kernel gets updated ( I observed it clearly with 4.4.0-51 , 4.4.0-57 )
  * it may have happened in 4.4.0-4* but I can't remember

once a kernel update happens, even when I revert to 4.4.0-31 and uninstall the new kernel,
this issue persists
