After upgrading from Trusty to Xenial, the touch screen does not recognize finger touch as input, pen and eraser are still recognized instead.

To clarify, after updating what package precisely from what version to what version caused this issue?

I upgraded from 14.04 LTS (Trusty)to 16.04 LTS (Xenial).

Sergio Zanchetta, to clarify, if you install the Trusty kernel you were using in Xenial, is this still reproducible?
