I have the same network controller and

I have been having trouble with wifi stopping working intermittently after updating to 16.04 requiring a reboot so I surmise this is the correct issue.

I am currently on 16.10 4.8.0-17-generic #19-Ubuntu SMP Sun Sep 25 05:28:27 UTC 2016 but the issue still remains.

There were no problems with 15.10, this issue started only after 16.04.
