I tried [1] and could not reproduce.

I guess most of it is not really a Bug, but missing Docs.
You have to add two Mount-Options so that it works and change a Gnome Setting.
(1) "nobrl"-Option
(2) "mfsymlinks"-Option
(3) service-db:keyfile/user in /etc/dconf/profile/user
