I have a Asus Zenbook UX305CA-EHM1 M3-6Y30. It's a pretty sweetly designed machine and Ubuntu looks and works awesome on it EXCEPT for this external monitor issue.
I've got the Intel HD Graphics 515 using the i915_bpo driver and a micro HDMI display port.
I've got a few days left to return this machine but I've wisely deleted the Asus Windows 10 recovery partition and I'm having a hell of a time getting Windows 10 reinstalled. It's so sad, I was really looking forward to having a dedicated Linux laptop to code on.
I know this is not the place to vent, I couldn't help myself!
