ASUS UX305-CA laptop with a clean install of Ubuntu 15.10 and touchpad will not work at all. It acts like it isn't even there.

This is a dual-boot and touchpad works fine on Windows 10. Appears to be an Elantech touchpad according to driver details in windows but nothing in Ubuntu lists the touchpad.

xinput -list shows no touchpad at all, just a virtual core XTEST pointer and my wireless mouse.

Notice this message under dmesg | grep pnp:

[ 0.839653] i8042: PNP: PS/2 appears to have AUX port disabled, if this is incorrect please boot with i8042.nopnp

Also, the airplane mode key, which is F2, does not work and the LED will not shut off as if it is permanently in airplane mode but it is not.

Screen brightness keys also don't work but I can work around that.
