Can you check all your BIOS settings are also set to failsafe defaults, in case yours is also to do with RAM timings, etc. Also, can you test this in the latest daily build of Karmic 9.10, it should be reproducible with the Live CD. If it does crash, hopefully apport will kick in, and then it can be uploaded with appropriate debugging information, but I'm hoping that this was fixed in Karmic. Thank you.
