Hi, Christopher, thank you for your reply.
I'm currently running kernel "3.13.0-36-generic", which doesn't have any issue with module "i915_bdw.ko". I know I'll have to upgrade the kernel in order to make the issue come up again. My doubt is: which kernel shall I upgrade my system to? Shall I upgrade to kernel "3.19.0-33-generic" (module "i915_bpo.ko")? Or kernel "4.2.0-18-generic" (module "i915.ko")? Or shall I switch kernels and file a bug for each one of'em?
I can do both (file a bug for 3.19.0-33-generic and another for 4.2.0-18-generic), it's not a problem. I'm just not sure if it's necessary. Please let me know which option is the best and I'll do it.
