stef.baly, to advise, hibernate, or hybrid suspend is treated as a different problem, which would necessitate a separate report.

So, to recap the results regarding the scope of this report (suspend only), with systemd, it works with pm-suspend. However, if you initiate the suspend via the button, it doesn't?

Also, if you switch to upstart, it works either via the GUI, or pm-suspend, correct?
