Steps to reproduce this bug:
1. install 14.04.1 on this machine
2. update the system to be latest
3. click dash --> addition drivers

Expected result:
ubuntu-drivers will give you recommended proprietary drivers

Actual result:
ubuntu-drivers pops up nothing

Today I found there is a simliar bug, bug 1362098, does not exist anymore just with apt-get update command, could you give it a try? Thanks!

The issue could be reproduced after dist-upgrading 201405-15023 (to 3.13.0-46, updated 14.04.1)

fresh ubuntu 14.04.2 installation and updated 14.04.2 could still reproduce this issue.
