I'm using Xubuntu 14.04 as my default OS in work and I'm afraid of loosing my personal data while trying new kernel. If my laptop crashes, I will not have enough time to rebuild it.

And also I do not know how to reproduce it, it happened yesterday again but it is not dependent on anything (of course it is, but the dependencies of the problem are not observable for me). It is happening randomly for me.

Is there anything I can help whit this?
