Gabriel Zhi Chen, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better. Could you please answer the following questions:
+ If you switch to UEFI mode in BIOS, does this change anything?
+ Does the latest release of Ubuntu demonstrate this problem via http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/current/ ?
