- don't! My understanding was using "radeonfb" conflicts with KMS which we want to use nowadays, so try to leave it out and instead use only "video=ofonly radeon.agpmode=-1"
"Yesterday I ran "sudo Xorg -configure" . . . and generated an xorg.conf file . . . it does show "radeon" as the driver, along with a bunch of other stuff . . . rebooted . . . no difference."
- Did you move it to it's right place via "sudo mv xorg.conf.new /etc/X11/xorg.conf"
