Chris,

Thank for for the BIOS update information. I dl'd the BIOS update and
applied it to my laptop. I upgraded from A02 -> A04, new Dell laptop
bought in Sep '14 had old BIOS even though BIOS A04 was released in May.

I ran the command you requested:

 >>
sudo dmidecode -s bios-version & sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date
[1] 2872
