Comment 4 for bug 1347835

I vaguely remember this working in 12.04, however not having had to use this functionality until yesterday, since January I can't say which update possibly broke the functionality. I have just installed 3.16.0-031600rc6-generic and the problem still exists with no registration in evtest or acpi_listen.
