I'm using a Fujitsu UH552 laptop with Ubuntu Gnome 14.04. Effectively my FN+(F key) special keys sort of work. My mute (FN + F3), brightness down (FN + F6), brightness up (FN + F7), volume down (FN + F8), volume up (FN+ F9) work. However the following issues exist :- The radio kill (FN + F5), and the external monitor display selector / choose between duplicate, extend or external only button (FN + F10) does not work. The print Screen (FN + Insert) works, but its functionality is duplicated on FN + Delete.
I have checked whether I am using the fujitsu_laptop module (which I am) using lsmod | grep fujitsu.
I have run sudo evtest and only the keys that are working / duplicated are detected, however the duplicated key has the same scan codes (4 and 99). I then ran acpi_listen and the only hot keys recognised are:-
button/mute MUTE 00000080 00000000 K
video/brightnessdown BRTDN 00000087 00000000
video/brightnessup BRTUP 00000086 00000000
button/volumedown VOLDN 00000080 00000000 K
button/volumeup VOLUP 00000080 00000000 K
