I think I'm affected by a similar issue. In my case i use USB audio speakers. Each time I select them as an output device - yes they work, but constantly the following messages are logged:
Jul 9 14:42:04 NUC-desktop kernel: [ 3413.003020] retire_playback_urb: 820 callbacks suppressed
Jul 9 14:42:09 NUC-desktop kernel: [ 3418.018277] retire_playback_urb: 827 callbacks suppressed
Jul 9 14:42:14 NUC-desktop kernel: [ 3423.033500] retire_playback_urb: 827 callbacks suppressed
Jul 9 14:42:19 NUC-desktop kernel: [ 3428.048798] retire_playback_urb: 827 callbacks suppressed
Jul 9 14:42:24 NUC-desktop kernel: [ 3433.064025] retire_playback_urb: 827 callbacks suppressed
Should it be like that? What's the meaning of the these log messages?
