Asking because I've encountered something similar during tests (kernel 4.9.20):

"s2both: Saving 1474608 image data pages (press backspace to abort) ... 68%"

And there it stalled. Reset necessary.

1474608 pages is close to the max for that box (max_size = 1510475 pages). So I'm wondering whether failure could have been due to this bug or just to overload.
